HEALTH EFFECTS
SKIN: Irritating to skin upon repeated, prolonged
contact
EYES: Moderately irritating to eyes.
INHALED: Vapour or mist is irritating to mucus membranes
and respiratory system.
Excessive inhalation can cause headache, nausea, and
dizziness.
SWALLOWED: Can be harmful if swallowed.
LONG TERM HAZARD: Repeated and prolonged occupational
over exposure to solvents can damage liver and central
nervous system..
FIRST AID:-
SKIN: Wash affected area thoroughly with soap and
water
EYES: Flush eyes immediately with plenty of water for
at least 15 minutes and get medical attention.
INHALED: Provide fresh air, give oxygen or artificial
Respiration if breathing is laboured.
SWALLOWED: If swallowed dilute by giving two glasses
of water to drink. Do not induce vomiting consult physician
immediately. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious
person.
ADVICE TO DOCTOR: Treat symptomatically

SKIN: Wear protective clothing, Gloves of neoprene
or nitrile rubber.
EYES: Use solvent resistant safety eyewear with
Splashguards or side shields to prevent eye Contacts
BREATHING: Use half face respirator with type A
Organic vapour filter and class P1 particulate filter
OTHERS: Use in a well-ventilated area with explosion-Proof
equipment.
VENTILATION: Sufficient ventilation in volume and
pattern Should provide to keep air contaminant concentration
low.
SAFE HANDLING INFORMATION
STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION
STORAGE TEMPERATURE: min 10C, max. 400C. Store cool
at constant temperature.
CONTAINER TYPE AND MATERIAL: Steel drums.
CONDITIONS TO AVOID: Heat, open flame, or sparks
TRANSPORTATION: By road and water (Never by air)
HAZARDOUS POLYMERISATION: Will not occur
SPILLS: Keep spectators away and avoid breathing vapours.
Floor may be slippery, be careful to avoid falling.
Dike and curtail spill with inert materials, e.g.
sand. Transfer liquid to containers for recovery
or disposal and solid diking material to separate
containers for disposal. Keep spills and as much
as possible, cleaning run off out of municipal sewers
and opens bodies of water.
DISPOSAL: Incinerate the liquid and contaminated diking
material at a permitted facility, or otherwise, dispose
off in accordance with all applicable regulations.
