DESCRIPTION A heat resistant Aluminum paint, based on modified Silicon resin..

PRINCIPAL CHARACTERISTICS
-heat resistant up to 550oC, a minimum 350oC is necessary to fuse the aluminum coating..
-good oil resistant
-can be used e.g on exhaust pipes in 2 coats.
-application by spray improves the appearance.
-specially formulated for exhaust system of chimneys, boilers generating equipment.
-normally applied on zinc silicate primed surface.

Recommended film thickness DFT 25um: WFT 80um
Theoretical spreading rate 12.4m3/litre
Drying time (dust dry) 1 hour at 28oC, 3 hours at 5-10oC
Minimum interval before overcoating 24 hours at 28oC, 48hours at 5-10oC
Maximum interval before overcoating no limitations
Shelf life (cool and dry places) 12 months, but a long storage period may affect the brilliancy. Good stirring before use.
Flash point (DIN 53213) 32oC

SUBSTRATE CONDITIONS the steel surface must be clean, dry and free from grease.

AIRLESS SPRAY
Recommended thinner no thinner to be added
Nozzle orifice approx. 0.38mm (=0.015 inch)
Nozzle pressure 8-15Mpa (=approx. 80-120 at m 1140-1700psi)

AIR SPRAY
Recommended thinner no thinner to be added
Nozzle orifice 2-3mm
Nozzle pressure 0.3-0.4Mpa(=approx. 3-4 at m 43-57psi)
ROLLER/BRUSH
Recommended thinner no thinner to be added

CLEANING SOLVENT 06-69 (flash point 38oC)

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
-Paint irritates or affect skin or mucous membrane.
-inhalation of vapour and dust is harmful.

GOOD PERFOMANCE
