Similarly, DN Meyer has developed a new water repellent paint known as MEYER
LONGLIFE for coastal areas (such as V/Island, Ikoyi, Marina, Bonny Island, Port-Harcourt,
Warri, Apapa, etc) and Desert (or Arid) areas of Maiduguri, Sokoto and other
areas with extreme weather conditions. MEYER LONGLIFE prevents flaking (or peeling)
of paint film and discolouration resulting from fungal/algae growth. When properly
applied, MEYER LONGLIFE lasts for a minimum of 15 years.

The
primary objective of DN Meyer Plc is to provide her employees
with all the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
in accordance with the specific work they are performing,
and ensure best condition in the work areas.
Specifically,
DN Meyer's policy will be geared towards the following:-
1.
Eliminate and reduce all forms of hazards
2.
Maintain properly all plants and equipment.
3.
Provide the work areas with sign-boards indicating work
in progress, restricted areas, and other warning/caution
signs.
4.
Maintain on site a flag-man to ensure the observance of
the sign-boards.
5.
Investigate any accident and near-misses to reveal all
elements responsible and consequently eliminate them immediately.
6.
Recognise excellence in safety efforts of the organisation.
7.
Lastly, train the workers, educate them on how to work
safely and how to maintain the Personal Protective Equipment
(PPE) and safety equipment.
GENERAL SAFETY PROCEDURES
1.
All possible causes of accidents must be avoided by every
staff.
2.
When given a job to do, organise a pre-job safety meeting
for your crew to follow.
