Dr.
Soile has worked in Dunlop Nigeria PLC variously as the
Development Chemist, the Research and Development Manager,
the Technical Manager, the Manufacturing Coordinator,
Industrial Product and Head, Industrial Products Manufacturing.
He was appointed as an Executive Director of DN |

MEYER
Plc in July 2005 as Director, Manufacturing. Before his appointment, he
was the Head of Manufacturing directly responsible for the entire manufacturing
plants/ processes of the Company.
He has varied experiences in research and development, quality systems,
manufacturing, teaching at various levels and general management expertise
with exceptional leadership skills. |

Prior to joining Dunlop Nigeria PLC in 1991,
he had worked as a Chemistry Teacher in Reagan Memorial Baptist
Girls Secondary School, and Lecturer in Lagos State Polytechnic,
Lagos State University and Ogun State University, (now Olabisi
Onabanjo University), Ogun State.
Dr.
Bob Soile, an Industrial Chemist, attended Igbobi College,
Yaba, Lagos and holds
a B.Sc.
(Hons) in Chemistry from the
University of Lagos, M.Sc. in Petrochemicals and Hydrocarbon
Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Industrial Organic Chemistry from
the University of Manchester, Institute of Science and Technology – Manchester,
(UMIST).
He had a short stint as a Post Doctoral Fellow with CHEMSERVE,
the research and consultancy unit of the UMIST.
He
is affiliated to the Chemical Society of Nigeria, Society
of Chemical Industry – UK, Petroleum Institute – UK,
the American Chemical Society; and a member of the Polymer
Institute of Nigeria, Nigerian Institute of Production Management,
the Nigerian Institute of Management, Nigerian Environmental
Society and the Royal Australian Chemical Institute.
Dr. Soile is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School and
has attended training courses locally and abroad in diverse
areas of management, manufacturing, quality systems, safety
and environment.
Dr. Soile was born on 2nd June, 1958 and he is married with
children.
